Corneal pregnancies represent between 2 and 4% of ectopic pregnancies and the maternal mortality rate from this condition is twice that of other tubal pregnancies. A laparoscopic procedure may be necessary to confirm the diagnosis, however, in the case of profuse intraperitoneal bleeding, a laparotomy is recommended immediately. In this work, we report the case of a 32-year-old woman who had an acute hemorrhagic abdomen due to a corneal ectopic pregnancy. She underwent exploratory laparotomy and hysterectomy with preservation of the ovaries, without complications.
